Colgan's Harbour View
Robbie Colgan was in the winner enclosure after winning The John Fletcher Memorial Handicap Hurdle trained by Patrick Joseph Hayes and owned by Sean Greaney.
Colgan raced his mount in mid-division and made progress 4 out and improved to lead after 2 out and stayed on well to win by an easy 7 lengths holding off the 3/1 favourite of Paul Nolan's Burren Bob
Patrick Joseph Hayes brother of flat jockey Chris Hayes said afterwards, "I took out my full training licence 10 months ago I've had a couple of placed horses so it's good to get a winner in. The horse came from Eric McNamara's he had lost his way a bit but he has freshened up since he came to me and he's been a great servant to the owners. It's the horses' 6th career win."
