Coast Takes His Chance
After seeing two short-priced market-leaders getting well and truly turned over in either divide of the Fairyhouse Membership 2009 Maiden Hurdle, favourite backers stopped the rot in the third event, the two mile maiden hurdle, when Andrew McNamara rode the 4/5 shot (as big as 11/8), Coast to a one and three parts of a length success.
Winning trainer, John Kiely said: "We've Colm Murphy (his Zaarito withdrawn owing to ground conditions) to thank for that. This fellow has taken a lot of time and hopefully he is alright after that."
