Choral Society in fine fettle
The Eddie Lynam trained Choral Society justified 9/10 favouritism when holding on for a narrow win in the Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Fillies Maiden at Dundalk this evening.
The daughter of Acclamation raced prominently, improved to lead a furlong out but was all out in the closing stages to hold the late finish of Tannery
Lynam later stated “she was entitled to do that but it was hard work. She is still a big baby and we’ll give her a break now.
“She’s a good honest filly and Shane (Foley) said to step her up in trip next time. There’s plenty of stamina on the dam’s side and she’s by the sire of the moment, Acclamation (whose progeny won the previous race)!”
