Casey Pitch perfect on Fever
Another mighty leap from Fever Pitch (right) under David Casey at Clonmel

David Casey got things spot-on aboard Fever Pitch in the Fethard Handicap Chase at Clonmel for owner J P McManus and trainer Arthur Moore.
The victorious Dushyantor gelding always seemed to be travelling and jumping well, not too far off the speed.
However the 7/1 shot (from 8s) had a mountain to climb up the straight as Jack Bene and Killcara Boy fought it out.
His sound fencing technique stood him in good stead over the last two though and the dual Tramore scorer got there near the line to beat Killcara Boy and Jack Bene by half a length and three parts of a length.
Arthur Moore remarked: "He (Casey) gave him a breather across the top and the good jumps in the straight clinched it.
"He runs well after a break. He's a summer horse really and it was nice to get this. We'll probably wait until February to run him again." (TW & EM)
