Sr Cartage showed her liking for heavy ground when taking a Gowran Park maiden earlier this year, and similar conditions again proved suitable as the well-bred daughter of Sea The Stars landed the Seamus Mulvaney Handicap at Listowel.
The Jim Bolger-trained 11/2 chance made virtually all in this nine-furlong event, and kept on well under Kevin Manning in the closing stages to beat Snakes And Ladders by three lengths. Bobby Jean the 7/2 favourite, was a further two lengths back in third.
Ger Flynn, assistant to trainer Jim Bolger, said "Kevin said he thought she was much sweeter in herself today and he made plenty of use of her.
"The track at Sligo probably didn't suit her the last day and she'll now go for a similar handicap. I'm delighted for the lads who own her as this has made their week!"
