Carberry and Harrington take last
Nina Carberry recorded her first winner for trainer Jessie Harrington when Dreamy Gent ran out a convincing winner of the concluding Clonskeagh (Q.R) Maiden at Leopardstown.
Carberry sent her mount to the front from over two furlongs out, the pair soon forged clear to record a cosy five length win over Island Oscar
Winning trainer Harrington said afterwards: “I’m thrilled with that win, he finally got his ground he’s been waiting in the wilderness for about two years.”
“He’s in good old form, he was a maiden waiting to happen really.”
“We’ll probably go for something at Galway or maybe Killarney, we’ll go wherever the ground is quick.”
