Burke picks up one day ban
PThe Stewards enquired into possible interference in the run to the first furlong involving Amazing Hyde ridden by Paul Townend and Brown Vixen ridden by Julie Burke.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, Julie Burke in the presence of Ms Tracey Collins.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
They also enquired into the possibility that Julie Burke, rider of Brown Vixen, had moved across before the marker poles.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were of the opinion that Julie Burke was in breach of rule 211(A) and therefore suspended her for 1 raceday (dates to be confirmed by the Turf Club)
