Bourgeois has Fairyhouse target

Acapella Bourgeois is to skip next week's Cheltenham Festival and run at Fairyhouse's Easter meeting instead.

Trainer Sandra Hughes is targeting the two-and-a-half-mile Grade Two hurdle at the County Meath venue for the six-year-old and has one eye on Cheltenham 2017 for him.

"Anything he does over hurdles is a bonus and we are looking after him this year. Hopefully he will go to Cheltenham next year," said the Kildare handler.
