Queens Boulevard upstaged odds-on stable-mate Sancta Simona in the concluding bumper and finale of the Listowel festival this afternoon.
The 12/1 shot bowled along in front under Billy Gleeson and proved much too strong for her rivals in the straight.
8/11 favourite Santca Simona tried to give chase turning for home but couldn't live with her stable-mate who stretched clear inside the final furlong for a six-and-a-half length win.
The hotpot was eventually pipped for second close home by Kalum River
It was a ninth winner of the week in Kerry for Willie Mullins, who was on duty in Leopardstown.
The winning rider said afterwards:- "Paddy (Mullins) said she is a strong galloper and so it suited me to make it. I jumped out in front and she seemed to be happy, she relaxes as well and that makes a big difference.
"She won't be a bad mare in time and that's my second winner for Willie."
