The Stewards interviewed Mark Bolger, rider of Ardilaun concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.

Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mark Bolger had used his whip with excessive frequency, and, after taking his previous record this year into account, therefore suspended him for 2 race days (TBC).
