Enda Bolger confirmed Josies Orders and Quantitativeeasing on course for the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham following their clash over hurdles at Navan on Sunday.
Josies Orders heads the betting for the Festival contest, having already won at the track twice this season, with Quantitativeeasing second favourite after he was carried out in last year's renewal when still in with every chance before the home turn.
Quantitativeeasing was a neck in front of his stablemate when finishing eighth and ninth in a two-and-three-quarter-mile race over smaller obstacles at the weekend.
Bolger expects the run to leave both horses spot-on for the return to Cheltenham in a month's time.
He said: "They both had nice runs round carrying plenty of weight on what was very heavy ground.
"We've got that out of the way now. They've both come out of it well and we'll get them ready for Cheltenham."
Cross-country king Bolger has won the Festival prize four times, but has not tasted victory since Garde Champetre's second triumph in 2009.
