Bolger and Manning dominate at Naas
Strongest at the finish, Brightly Shining (Kevin Manning) defeats Pullman Brown and Corker Hill

Great Wexford hurling enthusiast Jim Bolger made it three on the night at Naas, as the County's U21s completed a hat-trick of Leinster titles down at Wexford Park. Kevin Manning rode all of the Coolcullen victors, the last of which was Brightly Shining in the concluding REA Coonan Estate Agents Supporting Console Handicap.
On the back of his Ulster Derby third placing the Teofilo three-year-old was expected to be right on the premises in this ten furlong event and he was dispatched the 5/2 market-leader coming back in distance.
Things didn't look great for Brightly Shining's connections and backers with Manning at work in the straight as Pullman Brown travelled well on the front end. Corker Hill didn't get much room on the rail but inside the last it was Brightly Shining that proved strongest as he prevailed by a neck and a head from Pullman Brown and the former.
"He was resolute and he'll make a lovely jumper," suggested Bolger in the aftermath.
