Bob keeps run going with Belleau
The stallion Big Bad Bob continues to justifiably earn rave reviews and his daughter Belleau became another winner for the Islanmore Stud sire when justifying favouritism in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Auction Maiden.
Michael Hussey made virtually all in the Anamoine Limited colours and she kept going gamely in the final furlong to see off When Not Iff by three parts of a length.
Tracey Collins trains the victorious juvenile and she said: "I'm delighted with her, this Bob is a fair sire. We'll see where she goes now, possibly for a nursery on Oaks weekend. I'll have to speak to connections."
Bobskier, Bank On Black, Bob Le Beau and Berg Bahn are all winners in recent days for Big Bad Bob. They have all carried the Oaks winning colours of Snow Fairy.
Belleau was bred by Windflower Overseas and she had an auction price of just 800 Euros.
