Bluebell Rocks home under Foley
Shane ‘Dusty’ Foley was continuing his good run after he came home in front in the bookings@dundalk Handicap Division 2 aboard the Noel Meade trained Bluebell Rock
Foley who was in rear for most switched his mount to outer two furlongs out and the pair soon sprinted clear for an easy four and half length win over Keep It Cool
A delighted Meade said afterwards: “That was his last chance, he ran in a three year old hurdle at Navan last Saturday and he ran terrible so his owner said this was his last chance.”
“He's a lovely big horse and he’s always shown us plenty at home but has never shown us anything on the track.”
“We’ll give him a break now as he probably wants good ground and there’s no point running him on heavy ground.”
