Tosen Lydia was very good off the front in the concluding Vote For Nina Carberry In The Dancing With the Stars Final Median Auction Race at Naas.
She soon led for Shane Crosse over the mile trip and had them off the bridle deep in the final quarter of a mile.
She was full of running as she increased the gap in the final furlong to make it two from two.
It was a reduced margin of a length and a quarter that the 11/8 favourite won by, however, she was eased in the closing stages. Smooth Tom was a never nearer second at an easy-to-back 12/1 with Bringbackmemories third at 7/1.
Joseph O’Brien said: “She had a setback after winning at Bellewstown (in July) and this race was a nice starting point this year. We think plenty of her.
“She had her ears pricked all the way and was coasting to the line.
“She could step into an Oaks Trial or we could look at an Irish Guineas. It will be that kind of route we’ll be heading.
“We’ll see what the ground is like in a month’s time and she won’t be rushed back having missed a lot of time.”
