Bernabeu records 3rd win in Tramore
The Edward O’Grady trained Bernabeu re-captured his former sparkle when he won the opening race on this evening’s card, the Ceili Evening At Tramore Festival Handicap Hurdle, in the hands of Andrew McNamara.
Winning jockey Andrew McNamara said afterwards: “We didn’t really fancy him, he has being very disappointing lately, but the change in ground helped. He was a different horse out there today.”
“He loves it around here, he’s a well balanced horse and he was winging around the bends. He handles the track very well.”
