Bella Mana Mou could feature in Irish National
A very enterprising front running ride from Paddy Flood aboard Michael Cullen's Bella Mana Mou paid dividends in the feature race of the afternoon, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Novice Handicap Chase Final.
The seven-year-old mare by Snurge relished the heavy underfoot conditions at the Co Meath venue to run out a facile 17-length winner from Will Jamie Run who held second place throughout the 3m contest.
A tilt at the Irish Grand National, which Flood won with Hear The Echo last year, could be on the agenda according to winning trainer Michael Cullen.
"We will give her an entry in the National anyway. If it remains soft she will run, if it doesn't she won't. She loves when it is almost unraceable."
