The opening race this afternoon The I.T.B.A. Auction maiden was won by Dave Myerscough's filly Miss Minnies ridden by Padraig Beggy for owner David Kelly.

Beggy who made most of the running was headed from 2f out but under a strong drive by Beggy managed to get his mount to lead close home holding off Imprudent Miss ridden by Chris Hayes by ? lengths.
