Bargain Buy Rory Learns Plenty from Debut
Those watching the auction maiden at Roscommon last Tuesday night will have taken the very slow starting Rory Anna out as an eye-catcher and the eagle-eyed were rewarded at odds of 33/1 when the Viking Ruler filly scored on outing number two in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Maiden at Killarney.
Ben Curtis got John Joe Walsh´s 3,200 Euro buy home by a neck from 7/4 favourite, Lista Lightning Walsh said afterwards, "she lost half a furlong at the start in Roscommon and nobody seemed to notice bar the Racing Post."
