Bank rewarded
Bank On Black got just reward for her consistency when landing the Visit Tipperary Handicap by a length and a quarter for Ger Lyons and Keagan Latham.
The 7/4 favourite led two furlongs out and she was always holding the run of the slow-starting Blue Dahlia with Laldie staying on too in third place.
Shane Lyons commented afterwards of the Anamoine Limited-owned and bred three-year-old: "She was due that as she is consistent and honest. She is fast and that's why we came here for the fast five (they clocked 57.95). They've done a good job here to produce good to firm ground.
"She is by Big Bad Bob who puts guts into all his stock and he is getting winners over all trips. We have a few of them at home so we're delighted.
"This filly done what you'd expect her to do there and hopefully the handicapper won't be too bad on her."
