Stamp Of Authority gained a second win in a month and a third in his five year career when landing the Racing Again August 15th Apprentice Handicap at Gowran today.
The six year old son of Invincible Spirit had previously gained wins at Bellewstown on July 6 and at Listowel in September 2016 and was today ridden to a length and a half success over Idalia by Danny Sheehy.
McCourt later commented “he seems to enjoy being out in front and a bit of ease in the ground was definitely a plus for him as well.
“Anything softer will be a help to him as well. He's just in a good vein of form at the minute and if he doesn't get too much for that there might be another one in him.
“I had thought about going to Galway but he wasn't high enough. We'll look at what's coming up.
“He won in heavy in Listowel and down the road he'll be going back down there.”
