Jockey Sean Flanagan was impressed with Art Of Security after he scooped 18,450 euro for winning at Ballinrobe on Tuesday evening.
Noel Meade ’s eight-year-old was sent off a 7-1 chance for the valuable McHale Coranna Handicap Hurdle, but he made those odds look huge with a domineering display.
Art Of Security quickened clear before the last flight and ended up winning by 11 lengths from Bargy Lady
And Flanagan said: “He had a good run on the Flat the last day and he got into a nice rhythm.
“He wants nice ground and it’s beautiful out there.
“He jumped well and finished out his race well enough.”
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Ibsen trained by Gordon Elliott was found to have pulled its left fore shoe.
