Arctic to be aimed at the Middle Park
Tracey Collins' exciting juvenile Arctic will bid for Group 1 glory at Newmarket next month in the Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket on Friday October 2.
The grey Shamardal colt is unbeaten in three outings todate, and was particularly impressive last time when slamming Air Chief Marshal by four and a half lengths in the Group 3 Go And Go Round Tower Stakes at the Curragh.
Connections had been mulling over a possible alternative in the Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury this Saturday but Ms Collins confirmed he "will definitely be going for the Middle Park" after saddling Orlando Dawn to take the concluding Kerry Petroleum Handicap at Listowel this afternoon.
