The last race of the day went to inform Dermot Weld stable with Robbie McNamara doing the steering aboard Rite Of Passage for owners Christopher McHale and S.P O'Connor.

Weld commented afterwards, 'Robbie gave him a very nice ride, something that I have come to expect from Robbie. He rode him with hands and heels which I love to see. He'll go for a winners race now, he's a horse with a very bright future.'
