Another for Shernaz at Tramore
Course winner Shernaz justified favouritism in the Jim Harney & Joe O'Shea Handicap Chase at Tramore under Andrew Lynch.
The Lahib gelding led before the second last from D's Trix and he stayed on too strongly for Marathon Leader three and a quarter lengths separating them at the line.
Jim Dreaper trains Shernaz for Paul Heneghan from Monasterboice in County Louth and he said: "He's a horse that has had his problems. I'm delighted for the owner who has been extremely patient with him.
"We were a bit anxious about the ground as he seems to be better when it is quicker than today. To be fair though that's perfect ground out there."
