Another easy winner as Bonnie sluices in
The second favourite at 11/2, Bonnie Acclamation turned the second race into a procession as he came home an easy seven and a half length winner of the Jim Beecher Handicap over six furlongs for his trainer Pat Flynn with Danny Grant aboard.
The 3yo son of Acclamation who was having his seventh start this season was certainly not winning out of turn having finished third and second at Cork on his last two starts.
Run in a similar fashion to the first, the winner soon led and then disputed the lead. He moved back in front and went clear in the straight running on strongly to win very easily. Elusive Fairy at 8/1 finished second for Eddie Harty and Fran Berry while the 11/4 favourite Darasal Wane completed the placings a further two and three parts of a length back in third.
Winning jockey Danny Grant said afterwards: "He is a nice little horse and is improving all the time. The ground suited him today.
"I said I'd make plenty of use of him and when I looked behind I couldn't believe how far in front he was."
