Another Star emerges from Ballydoyle
Aidan O’Brien completed a double at Leopardstown this evening when his Tenth Star ran away with the three runner Listed Golden Fleece Stakes, under the trainer’s son Joseph O’Brien.
Racing against two Jim Bolger trained opponents, Tenth Star moved through lead over a furlong out before staying on strongly for an impressive win.
O’Brien Snr was absent but his jockey son did state “its easy on those ones! He did it well and is a nice horse. He is improving along and hopefully will get a mile in time.”
