Robert Andrew Latta rode his first winner this evening on board Fairy Field trained by John Kiely to win the Ratoath Flat Race.
Latta known as Andrew, hails from Wexford and is a first cousin of Top National Hunt jockey Robert Power. Andrew was out of action from February till July as a result from a fall he got at a point to point where he broke two vertabrae.
Latta is currently working for Jessica Harrington and hopes to go conditional sometime between Galway and Listowel.
