Andalacia's Decent Debut
There were several fancied for the Boylepoker.com Median Auction Maiden but the newcomer Andalacia produced a smart performance to beat the well-backed favourite, Magic Mornings by a length and a half.
In front a furlong and a half out, the daughter of Choisir went on to win convincingly under Wayne Lordan. The 7/1 shot is trained by Tommy Stack.
Andy Oliver 's first-timer, Haffa fell badly injured over a furlong out. Her rider, Colm O'Donoghue was taken to hospital in Drogheda for an x-ray of his shoulder which he feels he may have dislocated. (EM)
