Willie Mullins concluded the day the way he began, with An Dearg Mor taking the Bet Online At thetote.com INH Flat Race under Patrick, to bring up a treble for the yard. Upazo and Twinlight had landed the first two for Closutton, and An Dearg Mor, a big chestnut as his name would suggest, by Robin Des Champs, was even money favourite to step up on a promising debut second placing at this course forty five days back.
The 'jolly' didn't give his owners, the C C R Racing Syndicate, or backers, too much anxiety, as he headed the free-going Delegate from over a furlong out, going on to prevail by five lengths.
"He'll probably go for a winners bumper. Even though he's a big horse he seems to like drier ground. He'll either go to Punchestown or for a race after that. Emmett (Mullins) does a lot of the work with him," disclosed Mullins senior afterwards. (AM & EM)
