No Cheltenham going concerns for Mouse Morris and Alpha Des Obeaux 0AMouse Morris expects Alpha Des Obeaux to improve for better ground when he runs in the Ryanair World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
The six-year-old has already had a fine season, having finished second three times in hot company before winning a Grade Two at Gowran next month.
Morris is aware of the magnitude of the challenge which awaits in the Cotswolds, but is nonetheless fairly upbeat about Alpha Des Obeaux's chances.
He told the Irish Field: "He is in good shape and the plan is to go for the World Hurdle.
"He has done well this season and I'd like to think that he will appreciate better ground, but in saying that, he will have to improve on what he has shown to date.
"It looks a very good renewal, but I'm happy with him."
