Red Line Alexander gained important winning brackets when claiming the opener at Ballinrobe for Paddy Twomey.
The Sea The Stars filly was making her second start for the Cashel handler having been third at the Curragh last month.
Billy Lee got his mount into a nice position behind the leaders from her wide draw and sent her on two-and-a-half furlongs from home. St Clerans finished off well to press the winner close home as she recorded a half-length victory.
The winner, sent to post the 6/4 favourite, is out of a full-sister to Buratino.
"Billy said she was idle in front and when the second filly came to her it helped her see out her race," said Twomey.
"She had a good run at the Curragh and I'd imagine she'll step up in trip." Love Bracelet had chased the winner turning for home but had to be eased quickly a furlong out after losing her action.
