98/1 Limerick brace for Mahon

"He was the one I fancied coming here today," revealed Steve Mahon after Ballyluskey (8/1, Barry O'Neill up) completed a Limerick double for his County Galway yard in the concluding Greenmount Equine Hospital INH Flat Race.
In this two miler, with a tongue-strap on, and after being clipped in from 10/1, Ballyluskey was always to the fore and he kept up the gallop in the straight to see off market-leader, Judgement Day and Pershing Missile by two and a half lengths and the same.
"I bought him off Thomond O'Mara and only had him 12 days before he ran at Galway. He pulled too hard at Thurles and today we decided to run him from the front," further explained Mahon, earlier a winner with Smokey Joe Joe (Luke Dempsey).
"He jumps fences really well and I'd like to go chasing with him next.
"He is owned by Mike Burke, who owns a restaurant (the Pier Head) in Kinvarra."
