Cheltenham Festival Tips
Our team of Vincent Finegan, Emma Nagle and Johnny Ward have picked out their under-the-radar horses for the Cheltenham Festival at big prices.
Emma Nagle - I’m going to give two and the first one will be totally off the wall - Colonel Mustard each-way in the Champion Hurdle, he’s around 66-1. I think he could run a big race with blinkers on. He’s ran against State Man twice and they’ve probably been the best two runs of his life. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him run into a place and I really fancy Zenta for the County Hurdle.
Vincent Finegan - one for the Boodles, Ose Partir for Martin Brassil, it’s around 10-1 and was 20-1 earlier in the week. This will run a big race I think. Finished second in Galway and a nice run back in October. They’ve run it in Graded races since and things haven’t quite worked out. I think it will run very well on Tuesday.
Johnny Ward - I’m going to tip another Martin Brassil horse. Built By Ballymore in the Coral Cup, watch the way he finished his last two races, he’s won the two of them by 12 lengths. He has cheekpieces on for the first time and he’s been given 139 which actually looks quite favourable so I’m very sweet on him.
