Punchestown puller-up Envoi Allen has returned lame, having under-performed in today's Grade 1 Dooley Insurance Champion Novice Chase.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined the star novice, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

Furthermore his jockey Rachael Blackmore had earlier reported to the stewards her mount had hung badly left throughout.
