Willie Mullins charge had finished well in a mile-and-a-half maiden here on Wednesday and appreciated the step up to two-miles.
Paul Townend 's mount travelled well in behind his rivals throughout and hit the front with a furlong to run.
He kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a two-length victory over Darenjan who won a bunch finish for second.
"The extra bit of a trip was a big help. He'll probably mix it over hurdles and on the Flat for the rest of the season," said Mullins.
"He travelled well throughout. He has been a bit frustrating but is getting stronger and coming right.
"He had a hard two-year-old season and that told against him at three. He's starting to shine again."
