The experienced 11/8 favourite Cornerkova made the breakthrough in the Sean Hughes Memorial Maiden Hurdle.
Runner-up in her previous three outings, the Henry de Bromhead-trained mare took over in front from Full Aux Rois at the second-last and was ridden clear before the last.
A mistake by the pursuing Tom McGreevy put paid to any chance he had as the winner went away to score by six and a half lengths.
The 97-rated winner was getting off the mark at the thirteenth time of asking over hurdles.
Winning rider Hugh Morgan said: “She's been consistent and definitely deserved that as she's been good and tough the whole time.
“She did it nicely and I'm delighted she got her head in front eventually. She stays well and she was good there.”
