Yield survives enquiry in opener
The Eoin Doyle trained Yield For No One won his second 3-y-o hurdle in a row when beating Admiral Barry by half a length in the opener at Punchestown.
The winner, ridden by Shay Barry, drifted left in the closing stages slightly impeding the runner-up, but following a steward's enquiry the result remained unaltered.
Doyle said afterwards: 'he did it well and should improve from this run as he was recently cast in his box and missed a week's work. We will send him to Leopardstown at Christmas and all going well there he will be aimed at the Triumph Hurdle.'
