Aidan O'Brien trained his second Dundalk winner tonight, and in the process supplied son Donnacha with Group race success, on the impressive War Decree in the Koffy Diamond Stakes.
Seamie Heffernan won the 6.30 on newcomer I Can Fly and here Donnacha donned the silks of Andrew Rosen for the Group 3 feature.
Rosen owns the War Front three-year-old with the Coolmore partners, and they'll doubtless all have been pleased with the performance of this 7/2 chance.
He cruised into it in the straight after favourite Abingdon had put the pace to the race.
In the end War Decree had two and quarter lengths in hand over British raider Absolute Blast The aforementioned Abingdon was a length back in third.
Donnacha O'Brien said afterwards: "He's a horse with a lot of natural talent. He can be a little bit tricky at times but it's nice to get him back to winning ways. He loves that surface and hard ground is what he needs.
"He had a little break after France, and that's a lovely prep for him if they do decide to go to America."
