Bryan Cooper had a willing partner in Lord Scoundrel in the Grade Three novice chase at Cork as they powered home to win decisively.
The 4/7 favourite, in the Gigginstown colours, was challenged by Rightdownthemiddle (6/1) at the second last but a couple of reminders on the run to the final fence saw Lord Scoundrel take charge.
He bounded away on the run-in to win this two and a half miler by two and three quarter lengths. This was Lord Scoundrel's third win in a row following successes at Limerick and Galway in October. Cooper was on board for both of those wins as well.
He gave Cooper a Cork treble after earlier victories on Okotoks and Just Cause
Bryan Cooper said: "He is turning inside out and has done it well.
"He didn't jump as well as he could have done and I think he'll be better going left-handed as he is inclined to jump to his left.
"Fences have turned him inside out and he's paying his way now. He's entitled to step up now and on these tracks there's a great programme for Grade Two and Three races for the likes of him. He's one to look forward to."
