Wrath Of Titans became the fourth winning favourite from six races at Thurles when taking the I.N.H. Stallion Owners E.B.F. Maiden Hurdle at his ease under Bryan Cooper.
The course winning bumper scorer, winner of a point-to-point at the start of his career, was equipped with cheek-pieces for the first time, and he was stepping up in trip to this extended two and three quarter miles.
After the even money market-leader had seen off the well-backed 'second in,' Buck Dancing by seven and a half lengths, successful handler Sandra Hughes said: "He was good, did it well and has improved.
"It wasn't hugely competitive but he did well to give 8lbs away on that ground and win. He'll end up being a three miler, like his brother, Thunder And Roses, and we'll see what (races) comes up for him."
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Flinders River trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
