Flat racing fans are looking forward to the next appearance of Leopardstown maiden victor from April 8th, Irishcorrespondent. Third home in that race 16 days ago, So You Thought boosted the form when coming home in front in the www.navanracecourse.ie Median Auction Maiden.
This American bred son of So You Think represents Calumet Farm and Dermot Weld and as the 9/4 favourite (from 3s) for this mile heat he saw off the once previously raced Lawman filly Faradays Law by half a length.
Winning jockey Pat Smullen said: "He had a nice run in Leopardstown and was entitled to be thereabouts. He improved a bit."
Original favourite Cloistered (went off at odds of 5/2) could manage no better than eighth place.
C. O'Donoghue, rider of Cloistered (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked about one and a half furlongs from the finish.
W.M. Lordan, rider of Leven trained by John Patrick Shanahan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung to the left during this race.
