It was a case of survival of the fittest in the concluding mile and a half handicap at Leopardstown and Teocht toughed it out best to triumph in the hands of Rory Cleary.
On start number seven Teocht got off the mark at Tipperary last time, on much quicker ground, and here she showed her versatility with regard to going when getting up close home to deny Show Court by a head.
Winning trainer Jim Bolger reported: "She's a big backward filly and she goes on any ground.
"The Teofilo's seem to mainly want good ground but a few of them go on soft. That's it for the year for her now." (GC & EM)
