Three defections rendered the featured Breaffy House Resort Handicap Chase a little less competitive. The two mile one furlong event still took a bit of winning and Hello Sweetie stepped up to the plate in good style to take the honours under J J Slevin at Ballinrobe.
Favourite Eight Till Late shaped well over the closing few fences here but the market indicated a fancy for the Pat Collins trained Hello Sweetie at 4/1 and that proved to be well founded.
From the last Hello Sweetie went on for a four length win. The aforementioned Eight Till Late took the second spot by a head from Afatcat
"This is her ground. She has come back to form on her ground again. I will take her home now and make a plan where to go," revealed Collins.
"I will probably put her in-foal now and then look for a race. I want to take her to Galway. She is a brilliant jumper, and never lets you down.
"In Limerick she just couldn't get out of the ground, but she is just an honest mare. She was getting a length at every fence. It's unfortunate for Robbie Colgan because I rang him to ride her, but he had a ride for David Broad (Definite Earl, ended up a non-runner)."
