Sikara completes Stack double
Tommy Stack is quicker 'off the blocks' than most at the start of each Flat season and the Co Tipperary trainer recorded a double, and his fourth win of the season, at Dundalk this evening, completing the feat with Sikara in the ISF EBF Median Auction Fillies Maiden.
Ridden by Wayne Lordan, the daughter of Aussie Rules displayed plenty of stamina to eventually get the better of Adiynara
Afterwards Stack’s son Fozzy Stack said “Sikara is a granddaughter of Tarascon, which won the Irish 1,000 Guineas for us and it is great to win with her.”
“Sikara has done very well from the age of two to three and I think there’s more to come from her when she steps up in trip – she wants good ground too.”
