In the first division of the 47-70 nine-furlong handicap at Gowran Park, A Shin Undine secured a hard-fought victory in a photo finish.
The 'Sneezy' Foster-trained filly, ridden by Mark Enright, tracked the frontrunners and made a move a furlong-and-a-half mark from home.
With a narrow lead inside the final furlong, Narlita came with a late run, but failed to catch the winner.
A Shin Undine clung on to cross the finish line and secure victory by a nose at odds of 17/2. This marks the Slade Power filly's first win in 16 runs, with the filly having finished second on her previous Cork outing.
Foster said:- “She’s a lovely filly and I really loved the way she stuck her neck down there. It was a very close call.
“Her last run was great and I was hoping she would step forward from that. I haven’t done much with her since then as she is lean, narrow and doesn’t take an awful lot of work. It’s just a matter of keeping her sweet.
“The (Never Give Up) syndicate are relatives of Mark Enright so I’m glad that he rode her today. They own Molly’s Gamble as well and they have had great fun with her and they should have fun with this one as well.”
