Sebadee Another for the Punters
Punters were on top after the opening day of the August Festival and things didn't improve for bookmakers in the first race on the second day at Tramore as 8/11 favourite, Sebadee led before two out under Eddie Power in the Beat 102/103 Maiden Hurdle, soon easing clear for a thirteen length success.
This fellow carries the colours of the Cork-based Iona Equine Syndicate, who have enjoyed notable success with the likes of Mores Wells in recent times and this son of Cape Cross has a good pedigree, costing 160,000 guineas as a yearling. The four-year-old is trained by John Murphy. (EM)
