The easy-to-back Tawaazon (20/1 from 10s early) recorded the seventh and most valuable win of this career to date, as he landed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Habitat' Premier Handicap under a canny Jamie Powell ride.
Drawn in stall 15, Powell elected to move his mount towards the stand side rail, with Hurricane Ivor the only one to follow suit.
Always towards the head of affairs, the James McAuley-trained victor was ridden over a furlong from home and just held off the late surge of Laugh A Minute by a head.
The Adrian McGuinness-trained runner-up was returned at 16/1, while the aforementioned Hurricane Ivor (12/1) was a neck away in third
Returned the 9/2 favourite, Dandyville finished down the field.
"Fair play to Jamie and it worked out brilliant," McAuley said.
"He's been flying up the handicap for smaller pots so he's got a good pot now. He's been a great servant for us since we picked him up in a claimer."
