Trainer Pat Murphy and jockey Ben Coen have been making a positive impression on the polytrack in recent times and they kept up the good work when No Approval came out on top in the first split of the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap.
The runners fanned out right across the track up the straight in this mile heat.
Any number had chances until late on, but after gaining a maiden win on start number nineteen over the course and distance 15 days back, No Approval wasn't to be denied in his follow-up bid.
He eventually got home by a length and quarter from Rosenborg Rider
"The horses are running well and we've been very happy with his last two runs here," said Murphy.
"He seems to have taken to the track and he's improving well.
"He had a confidence issue before but he seems to be running more confident now, travelling better into the bridle.
"We had a tongue-tie on him before, during the summer, and since we took it off he's been travelling way better.
"He'll keep on the go here. As long as they're healthy and racing like that we'll keep racing."
