"It's nice to get a winner when Mum is away. She's gone to Nicky Henderson's wedding," revealed Kate Harrington after her mother Jessica's Impact Factor justified odds-on favouritsm in the Sportinglife.com Maiden Hurdle at Punchestown.
Robbie Power kept things simple from the front on the 4/7 chance, second or third in his four previous outings, and he comfortably fended off the danger posed by Eagle Lion by a length and a quarter.
"He deserved that. He had two very good bumpers runs last year when Paddy Twomey had him. We bought him last spring and to be fair to Brian (Acheson, owner - Robcour) he didn't push to run him last spring and let us take our time with him," further explained Kate Harrington.
"He was a very good second first time out and also a very good second to Paloma Blue at Christmas.
"He deserved that and will step up in trip now. We'll take it steady and Mum will have a chat to Brian.
"I don't know if Cheltenham will be on the cards or whether we might wait for Fairyhouse and Punchestown."
On Our Duke meanwhile she revealed: "He's very good and we couldn't be happier with him.
"He will have another jump this week or next week and he's very very good. He seems to be back to his old self."
